Stargazing at the TELUS World of Science

Meet Leong inside the lobby/entrance area of the TELUS World of Science building.  
   
Saturday, November 3, 2007  
6:30 to 9:30 PM  
   
Cost: No cost, 2006-2007 EABC/AABC members only
   
Please register in advance by Friday, November 2, 2007.  
The Super Saturday Group is geared to Grade 1 to 6 students.  
The Discovery Group is geared to Grade 5 to 9 students.  
EABC Memberships will be sold prior to the event.  
New members are welcome.  
   

Our host will be David Roles who has conducted numerous stargazing events for EABC.
  David will start off with a slide presentation at the TELUS World of Science building. David will present the latest findings on Mars and Saturn. After the slide presentation, we will walk over to the Observatory area for stargazing!!  
View the planets and stars through the high-quality telescopes (weather permitting).
We will also check out the newest 16 inch telescope: Meade LX200 GPS!!
     
  This event is limited to the first 20 children.  
       
This event is only open to 2006-2007 members of EABC or an AABC affiliate. EABC membership forms are available here.
       
  Please bring your suggestions for future events.  
  You may be asked to sign a waiver form.

To help us plan the activity, please indicate whether the child  registering is a boy or a girl, their name and age, name of contact parent, contact phone number, and EABC membership status.
